L.A 2 LA. Productions, a sub-divison of Sedona Entertainment group, is a full service production company located in Lake Charles, LA. Though both companies work closely together, L.A 2 LA. focuses mostly on the production arm of Sedona Entertainmnent group. Working directly with it sister company Sedona Studios based in Los Angeles, CA, L.A 2 LA. maintains a goal to produced independent films partial if not entirely in Southwest Louisiana.

Louisiana has grown over the last several years in the area of film production and we are ascertaining that it's here to stay. Though major film productions have taken place throughout the state of Louisiana, very few have been shot in Southwest Louisiana- and we hope to change that. Over the next five years, Sedona Studios and L.A 2 LA. Productions plan to produce and distribute several films that will be produced in Southwest Louisiana. By building an infrastructure in SWLA, Sedona and L.A 2 LA. hope to attract other major and Independent production companies to shoot films in southwest Louisiana (SWLA).

Sedona Studios, L.A 2 LA. Productions, and Sowela Technical Community College have joined forces to create the first workforce development film program in Southwest Louisiana. The SWLA Film Program was designed by Sedona Studios and L.A 2 LA. Production Company to create an infrastructure and film production workforce in the Southwest Louisiana area. The program will be run by L.A 2 LA. Production Company, and housed on Sowela Technical Community College Campus in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Students will be taught by instructors currently working daily on film productions around the country and throughout the state. |
Red Carpet Charity Event
Sedona Studios and L.A 2 LA. Productions presents, the "How To Love A Geek" Red Carpet Charity Event. Locally cast and filmed in Lake Charles, LA., "How To Love A Geek" represents the emerging film industry in SWLA and surrounding parishes. On November 21, 2013 the stars will shine...L.A 2 LA. Productions will host a night to remember at the Lake Charles Civic Center. The night will be filled with musical performances, drinks, dinner, and an exclusive screening of "How To Love A Geek," in the Rosa Hart Theatre. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the SWLA Film Program, housed on the Sowela Technical College campus in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
